The new Ultimate top-of-the-range models are professionally assembled and feature numerous high-quality aluminum and performance upgrades. With over 20 upgraded parts, the X-Maxx Ultimate offers extreme durability and toughness that make them the most powerful 8S trucks.
Its massive belted tires promise enormous grip on any terrain, and the oil-filled aluminum shock absorbers do the rest to move the X-Maxx ideally on any surface. Despite the large suspension travel, the turning circle is small.
The fully ball-bearing cardan all-wheel drive ensures incredible acceleration. Regardless of whether in the meadow, in the dust or on asphalt, it can reach speeds of up to 55km/h.
The brand new motor mount fixes the distance between the motor and the main gear even in the most brutal conditions. Locating pins ensure optimal pinion play and save complicated settings.
The X-Maxx has a “one-click” body mount without cotter pins. The body can be easily attached to the vehicle using a rotary lever.
A special monster servo with metal gears was developed to withstand the monstrous conditions and is perfectly matched to the huge tires and suspension.
The unique Traxxas slipper clutch, cooled by dual fans, absorbs power from the drivetrain and balances high torque, ensuring you never lose control of your X-Maxx.
Thanks to Traxxas' modular chassis design, the entire front and rear axle can be removed and attached to the chassis in one.

TSM -Traxxas Stability Management
This innovative steering aid makes it easier to control the vehicle on slippery and uneven roads and corrects the line. The multifunction button on the TQi remote control can be used to continuously regulate how much the TSM intervenes in the driving behavior, whereby only the steering movement is not influenced by the throttle position.
Self-righting system
If the vehicle lands on the roof and remains lying there, you don't have to put it back up, just press a button on the remote control. The X-Maxx now straightens itself again by accelerating and steering movements. As soon as he is back on the wheels, the driving fun can continue.
Velineon brushless system
Consisting of the Big Block 1275XL Kv brushless motor and the VXL-8s controller. The components are powerful and waterproof. With Velineon you have the largest selection of compatible batteries, allowing your vehicle to reach top speeds of up to 80km/h.
The motor is protected from overheating by an aluminum heat sink and a temperature sensor that switches off if necessary.
The controller is optimally tailored to the engine and has three driving profiles. Operation is uncomplicated and takes place via a single button. It is waterproof and has two-way undervoltage protection with automatic shutdown.
TQi 2 channel remote control
With the advanced Ready-to-Race remote control you don't have to set any channels or frequencies. The ergonomic design looks very appealing thanks to the integrated and therefore protected antenna. The TQi is light and fits well in the hand.
The automatic model selection recognizes up to 30 models without having to save them first. As soon as you turn on the transmitter, the model and the associated settings are loaded.
Steering and throttle end points can be precisely adjusted. Using the multifunction button, the TSM can be regulated, steering sensitivity (Expo), throttle sensitivity (Expo), steering in percent (Dual Rate), braking force in percent (Dual Rate) or throttle trimmed.
